Hello and welcome to GlassBrick; a place where we celebrate and commiserate the highs and lows of our relationship with animals. With so many people dedicated to hurting animals, this is a place dedicated to loving them and fighting for them.
In today’s age of the internet, there’s a world of information right at your fingertips and we can use that constant demand for instant knowledge to advocate for a more compassionate, empathetic future. There have been brick walls surrounding the unjust treatment of animals for too long now and by replacing those cement bricks with glass, we can expose the truth and we can show people how easy it is to lead a kind, cruelty free life!
“If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian” – Paul McCartney
Here at GlassBrick, we believe no animal should be exploited, abused or killed for any human purposes, whether that’s for food, science, sport, entertainment or any other industries treating animals as commodities. Animals are here with us, not for us and we can never expect a peaceful planet, whilst we cannot show empathy for those completely at our mercy.
Our aim is to break through the widespread, protective vocabulary sending out misleading connotations of socially accepted animal abuse. Words like ‘humane’ and ‘free range’ in the food industry, for example. We are taught from an early age not to consider animal lives as that important and these buzzwords are what give many people the false sense that they are not contributing to cruelty, when it comes to making their dietary choices.
Facts are important to us here at GlassBrick and we always carry out extensive research for each article we publish, as we have no intention of spreading false information. So whilst many of our articles are opinion pieces, we’ll be sure to fact check when necessary and cite any external sources of information.
We are vegan. We are for the animals. We are GlassBrick.
